No, excursions are not included in the price with The News Cruise event.  Holland America offers excursions that will be available to purchase in advance once your reservation is confirmed.  Or excursions can be purchased once you are on the cruise ship.

What beverages are included and which ones are not?

Beverages that are included with your cruise fare, such as coffee, teas, juices, milks, and poured water will be offered with every meal as well as offered at all hours in the self-serve Lido beverage area. 

 

Alchoholic beverages, sodas, bottled waters, specialty coffees, and items such as fresh squeezed juices will incur a charge typical to land-based restaurant pricing.

Shore Excursion Credit, Wifi, and a Beverage Package can be bundled and purchased using the Holland America "Have it All" promotion.

The Have It All Package is an optional add on to your cruise. For one simple fare, you can save with Have It All, our premium cruise package that includes Shore Excursions, a Drink Package, Specialty  Dining and Wi-Fi. 

 

• Shore Excursions: Receive US$100 Shore Excursion Credit to apply towards the purchase of activities at the ports of call.

• Signature Drink Package: You can choose from a large selection of wine, beer, spirits and cocktails, plus non-alcoholic options like bottled water, sodas, specialty coffees and more – with bar service charges included.*

• Specialty Dining: Enjoy an evening on your own and experience one of the Specialty Dining Restaurants for no additional charge.

• Wi-Fi Surf Package: You can stay connected throughout their journey, surfing the web, using social media, checking email and sending messages to friends and family.

Access all the sites in the other cruise plans, plus access all common streaming sites such as Hulu, Netflix, Disney+  and more. All onboard Internet usage is subject to Holland America Line  standard policies, which may limit browsing of some sites due to network  security and bandwidth usage. Nightly dining table location will change each evening, when the group dines together in the Main Dining room. Unless you request otherwise, you will assigned a different table every night with different waiters. Discuss your restrictions with your waiters so they can let suggest/recommend items that will accommodate your needs.
